A score is a prompt for human review, not a guarantee of search rank, accessibility compliance, speed, or sales. Checks are observations of one page at one moment; confirm them before relying on them.
Common questions
Before you run an audit
Does Site Auditor scan my whole website?
No. It reviews the page open in your current tab. It may request that site’s public robots.txt and sitemap files to check search settings.
Where do my results go?
The extension runs its checks in your browser. It stores a daily audit counter and up to 100 past audits locally on your device. You can delete history in the extension. Read the extension privacy policy.
What does the score mean?
It groups rule-based observations so you can prioritize review. It does not certify accessibility, predict rankings, or promise more customers.
Can I edit the draft?
Yes. The draft is plain text built from findings and is yours to review and edit. The extension does not send it.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
The current free build allows 10 audits per day and has no checkout or account connection.
