Site Auditor privacy policy

What the extension does

Site Auditor reviews the webpage you open and drafts an editable email based on its checks. Every check is a fixed rule that runs in your browser. No AI service or server of ours is involved.

Data collection and storage

We do not collect, transmit, or sell your audit data. We do not receive the pages you audit, their URLs, audit results, or your draft emails. The extension keeps two things in your browser’s local extension storage: a daily free-audit counter (local date and count), and a history of up to 100 audits you ran (the page URL and title, the date, the scores and the check results). You can delete history entries or clear them all from the History page, and uninstalling the extension removes everything. Reports and CSV files are generated on your device.

Third parties

This extension does not use analytics or remote code. The current free build has no checkout or account connection. A future Pro build may use ExtensionPay, which processes payments through Stripe: if you choose to buy Pro, your account and payment information will go to ExtensionPay and Stripe under their own privacy policies, and the extension will learn only whether your account is paid. Audit results are not sent to either service. To check search settings, the audit requests the audited website’s own /robots.txt and sitemap files from that website, with cookies omitted. Those are public files any visitor can open. No audit data is sent to us.

This website

This page uses a first-party, cookieless page-view counter. It does not receive your extension’s audit results, page URLs, or draft emails.
